Panic is an adaptation of the bestselling young adult book by Lauren Oliver. In a story of high school kids continually stuck in a small Texas town, the goal of our campaign was to make the marketing accessible and relatable to young adults. We leaned into a raw and candid photographic style and highlighted our young and attractive cast.

Panic is a dangerous game invented by kids in small-town Texas to escape their mundane lives and aspire for more in life. We were careful to highlight this key story trope without glamorizing or promoting these “game” in real life. We equipped our cast with their own polaroid cameras and were able to utilize these raw images into our campaign. We also captured on-set interviews with our cast to make them feel relatable and accessable.
